Dr. Tukaram Sambhaji Dudhamal is presently working as Associate Professor and In-charge Head Dept. of Shalya Tantra, Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (Institute of National Importance), Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. He obtained his MS (Ayu) degree form Govt. Ayurved College, Nanded and his Ph.D. (Ayu) in Shalya Tantra from Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar. His teaching experience is 21 years to PG and clinical experience is 24 years. He has guided 29 PG and 12 PhD scholars. Presently, 9 PG and 5 PhD students are doing research under his guidance. He received "Best Teacher Award-2021" by National Sushruta Association (NSA), India. He has been an active committee member in several committees at the Institutional and the National level. He has served as Nodal officer of 100 bedded Covid Care Centre (CCC) IPGT&RA Hospital, Jamnagar during first and second wave of Covid-19 pandemic. He has three books and 10 chapters on Ayurved to his credit. He has published more than 200 research articles in peer reviewed journals. He delivered more than 50 guest lectures in CME, in National and International seminars and attended more than 62 National and International seminars. He completed 5 Research Projects as Principal Investigator and two research projects are going on. He is working as reviewer and subject editor in many scientific journals like AYU, AAM, JAIM, JRAS, IJA-CARE, IJTK, JACR. He has made official visits to Tajikistan, Russia, Sri Lanka, China and Hungary to deliver lectures on Ayurveda, Ksharasutra and wound healing. His area of expertise includes Wound Healing, Ksharasutra, Ano-rectal surgery, Leech application, Musculoskeletal disorders, Urinary disorders through Ayurveda.
