Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Ayurveda (ĀCĀRA)

Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Ayurveda (ĀCĀRA) is a new initiative of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham at the Amrita School of Ayurveda located in the Amritapuri Campus of the institution. ĀCĀRA is inspired by the vision of Mata Amritanandamayi Amma, our Chancellor, to provide a scientific backing for traditional medical practices and pave the way for the development of an evidence-based Integrative approach to health care. 

Amrita Center for Research in Analytics, Technologies & Education (AmritaCREATE)  

The Amrita Center for Research in Analytics, Technologies & Education (AmritaCREATE) is an educational technology initiative pioneered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Social and educational systems must be designed so that it nurtures creativity and values along with knowledge acquisition. Research at  AmritaCREATE focuses on the design, development, and deployment of tools that can lead to phased transformation through educational technologies. Our interdisciplinary team endeavors to create digital solutions that are affordable, accessible, and equitable. 

About the project 

The Ayurveda Clinical e-Learning (AYURCeL) project aims to fill this gap by creating a web platform to make available the clinical experiences of successful Ayurveda clinicians in a digital form and format that will facilitate continuous clinical learning based on well documented case studies. 

This project is supported and funded by Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. It is being developed jointly by Amrita School of Ayurveda (ASA) and Amrita CREATE, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
